My name is Alec Lacap and I was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i and raised in Panorama City, California. At a young age I have been heavily inspired by art especially by my grandfather. My grandfather was a Vietnam War veteran and to enjoy the finer things in life he did art. As I became older I became more and more inspired and wanted to make him proud. What I want to do with my art is show more than just a feeling or story or even just an aesthetic. I want to express whatever is found in the crevices of my mind and share that with the world. It's a wide variety of mediums and concepts though I feel that shows my personality and generally myself as a person.
